The main idea of the renovation of the square is to return the representative function to this historically most important space in the city, which is currently suppressed by a car park that stretches across its area. This public space is to be returned to use to people who have been moved to the edges. At the same time, these adjustments should give prominence to the significant architectural and artistic monuments, which are now hidden behind a number of visual and physical barriers. |
